this is 2006, people. if the reality of it all has not sunk in yet, then it had better do; because from today on we'll be writing dates ending off with '06' instead of '05', and it would probably be a waste of time to reach over for that correction tape. hah.
actually i think my mind has been stuck in a time warp where the date is forever 2002 or something. because somehow 2003, 2004 and even 2005 seem brand new to me. like i can not believe that i have already trespassed so many years of my life.
therefore to remind myself that the new year has suddenly sprung up from behind, this is a brand new layout in accordance with the new year=)
i know it would probably be apt to do a reflection of the year that has come and gone, but the images of the past year whizz by in my mind so fast like a slide-show gone wrong.
if each year was like a ride, then 2005 would probably be a gentle, slow ride with no major humps but also no magnificent sceneries to behold. of course, there was the A levels, a major major event. but personally, there was not much of a revelation or discovery. i guess that's because i've already more or less discovered most of myself. heh.
spent new year's eve last night with a few church friends at fisherman's village. there were alot of people spending their last moments of 2005 there also. the food and company were good, and the whole atmosphere was great. when the dj counted down, everybody there counted together and at the count of zero, we played with sparklers and threw them into the sea; while others sprayed their friends with foam. so it wasn't mambo jambo at expo or the sky symphony concert at sentosa, but it was great=)
will upload the pics when i finally get them from priscilla. damn slow la she =D
spent the day today with my sister at bugis=)
well. so this is 2006, people. happy new year! =)
