listening to lush 99.5 fm on a chilly night can be really soothing. you can almost imagine yourself relaxing on a plush armchair, glass of champagne in one hand, eyes closed, and just taking in the sound of the music; when in reality there's just lots of revision to catch up on and you can't catch your breath.
i don't know if it happens to everyone, but the mood of studying is really essential to me to even start studying. if the mood is not there, i can just sit at my desk for an hour looking at meaningless numbers and words that don't make sense to me at all, and end up being really unproductive the whole day. but if the right mood is there, that's all i need, really.
and today the mood just eludes me completely. tried doing some math questions but gave up after like half an hour. and i haven't been doing much at all. except tuning in to lush to calm my senses. which is pretty helpful, a change from the mainstream pop of perfect 10.
i guess i'll go off, do something completely unrelated to my studies, and wait till the right mood returns.
