prelims by itelf already suck big time. and being sick at the same time definitely doesn't make prelims a whole lot easier.
have taken gp, literature and math so far; and in the condition im in, im amazed how i even force myself to sit through three hours each of writing nonstop in the silence amidst a hundred other students; grappling with a blocked nose and a very sandpaperish throat, and having to squeeze brain juice out of my already dying brain. ugh.
but im glad i manage to pull through the three papers so far. econs tomorrow, i might take the day off; depends.
i took a walk in the neighbourhood yesterday. was suppose to get food from ntuc but it didn't have what i wanted so i decided to walk to the other outlet.
it was a walk through humanity; the simple life.
i saw a nursery school teacher blowing bubbles and the little children running amidst the bubbles in glee, trying to catch the bubbles in the hands but never succeeding.
i saw three feeble elderly men sitting at the chairs at the void deck, not talking to each other; just looking out at the people walking by through eyes that have already seen too much.
i saw a much pregnant cat sitting at the pavement; and resisted the urge to stroke it.
i saw a little boy riding a bike up and down the slope; perhaps thinking these carefree childhood days of his will never end.
well, no big point to make; just saying i enjoyed the walk (:
