youknow, reading a dan brown's is akin to getting into a relationship. just for the past week,my whole life is angels and demons. i lived angels and demons, breathed angels and demons, ate angels and demons, and slept angels and demons. i read it straight when i wake up till i fell asleep. other things didn't seem to matter at that moment. so,i say,now that i've completed the book, life begins after a dan brown's. the da vinci code did it to me back then, too. no other authors except dan brown can do that to me,man. hurhur.
was at the rooftop of YMCA building last night with eugene, priscilla, flannery, daniel and kevyn.performance by this acapella band(dontknow their name oops). five middle-aged men;so they weren't backstreetboys, and their performance wasn't perfect, with them checking with each other what songs to play while on stage-but they were mesmerising.and totally hilarious, too.ticket was eight bucks, but it was definitely worth it=)
my pool skills are absolutely pathetic lah.yesterday before the concert had pool with shaun and adelene and i sucked at it so much,man.haha. both of 'em were damn good, man.felt so freakin' lousy beside 'em lah hur.
anyone caught Project Superstar on channel u? i tell you i felt so freakin' embarrassed for some of 'em people who auditioned. while it was so obvious some of 'em were just going to make a fool out of themselves on national tv,the judges just let them carry on doing what they were doing just for viewing and entertainment sake. and there was just an overload on tears and sad music lah. show us the good stuff man! and i've nothing against visually handicapped peeps, but get real,by letting these people get through the first round and giving 'em false hope, what help is it gonna do? they just got through because of pity? and some of the people there, their singin' wasn't even that good, but they got through, why? cause of their looks. oh man. sad lah. in a bid to create a variety show, channel u has discarded sense out the window. oh man.
whatever, i saw one of the Project Superstars contestants at bugis yesterday. you know that girl with short fringe, long hair, quite pretty-she got through and then was tearing and saying she loves her mother? she was alone, walking super slowly and wearing this super low-cut blouse, and although i was in a rush when i saw her yesterday, the feeling i got from her was like i-was-on-tv-d0-you-recognise-me? hurhur.
ahwells. and i made a mistake. Eye For a Guy 2's finale is next week. i can't wait=)
